Steve has been Carp fishing for well over 30 years and is known as one of the most innovative anglers in the UK, having developed and refined rigs such as the Withy Pool, the Basic Complicated and his Hermit rig.
Steve has appeared in countless magazine features and films over the years, including his highly acclaimed weekender series, which ran in @advancedcarp magazine for 9 years.
Steve is a phenomenal angler, having caught a ridiculous number of big fish from a wide variety of venues, both in the UK and abroad and is equally at home on busy day ticket fisheries or low stocked syndicates.
Having also previously owned his own bait company, and having played around with ingredients for many years, Steve has a knowledge and passion for bait. We will be developing a bait in conjunction with him over the coming months for launch in 2022 – something we are all very excited about.
