Korda Heli-Safe System

Korda’s patented Heli-Safe Release System give the angler the option to fish chods & helicopter rigs at range with large leads. In the past large leads fished on the end of the line would often lead to hook pulls. This new system allows large leads to be cast at huge distances without the risk of it hindering the chances of landing a prized specimen. The Heli-Safe enables you to discharge the lead when the situation calls and when used in conjunction with Korda’s No-Trace beads this system is completely safe and effective.

The Heli-Safe System employs a pressure-release function unique to Korda. Once the fish applies pressure to the clip it will drop the lead and leave you to play the fish. This system is ideal for using in weedy or snaggy conditions as the fish will often fight higher up in the water, away from danger. The Heli-Safe does come with a small plastic collar that can be fitted to fix the lead in place if you don’t wish to discharge the lead, making it the most versatile helicopter system ever!
