These favourite natural Maple Peas are old school but making a real comeback with some huge catch reports being published over recent years. Many top anglers still use them alone or as an integral part of their loose feed mix.
After boiling, Maples can be allowed to ferment if they are left in their own water for several days. To speed up this process add a tablespoon of sugar during the boiling process. They also take on flavours very well if you wish to add a bit of a twist.
When prepared, Maple Peas appear almost like 8-10mm boilies making them an ideal choice for long term baiting campaigns where regular baiting is required. They can be used on the hair if required.
To prepare Maple Peas soak for 24 hours and then boil for 20-30 mins.
